Rachel Zook-Registered Massage Therapist, Manual Osteopath

Rachel completed her 2200 hour program in massage therapy at Vicars School of Massage. Since graduating she has always had a passion to help people no matter what they come in for. Therapeutic work is a huge part of her practice however she loves to help those who want to come in for stress and mind relief. Having a drive to get down to the root problem of people’s pain, she completed her 13 month, 1180 hour Manual Osteopathic program in March 2023 at the Manual Osteopathic College of Canada. Her touch is unique and she can connect with the body to listen for what it needs.

Mind and body work together. While making sure clients are relaxed and comfortable she uses different techniques and assessments to figure out what the root cause of your pain/discomfort is. Manual Osteopathy includes a variety of techniques including Osteoarticulations, advanced myofascial remodelling, Craniosacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage and visceral manipulation. Your MO session may include all or only a couple techniques specifically tailored to what your body needs. Sessions can be great to relieve digestive issues, alleviate pain, decrease stress and improve the quality of your sleep.

During her first years experience of becoming a Manual Osteopath, she has experienced many emotional releases from clients bodies especially working the visceral and cranial sacral systems. Clients report feeling “lighter” and like a weight has lifted up off of their chest. If you suffer with anxiety, stress or trauma, she would love to work with you to release what you may unknowingly be storing in your body in hopes of beginning a new pain free, positive lifestyle.

Rachel is currently not taking any new massage clients but is taking new clients for manual osteopathy. When Rachel is not in the clinic you can find her living an active lifestyle with her two golden retrievers or spending time with loved ones.
